Can graduate students explain their research to the general public in an understandable, even entertaining manner? We're all about the find out with the UCSC Grad Slam, an event featuring a number of UCSC grad students who get three minutes to excite a lay audience about what they're working on. Judges will pick a winner who will go on to a similar event for the whole UC system.
