On Saturday, Nov. 16, the Santa Cruz Elks Lodge will partner with the Santa Cruz Warriors to host its free Hoop Shoot/Free Throw contest. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the contest starts at 9 a.m. The event will be held at Kaiser Permanente Arena located at 140 Front Street in Sannta Cruz. The event is free for ages 8-13 years-old and involves a free throw competition. Participants are invited to arrive starting at 8:30 a.m. to warm up and register for the event.
