What: The 11th Annual Santa Cruz Comedy Festival will take place October 1st through October 5th. This year features 5 days, 17 stages and over 60 comics who have appeared on, Netflix, HBO, Comedy Central, Conan, Fallon, Kimmel and more! The Santa Cruz Comedy Festival is dedicated to building community through laughter.
Where: The Santa Cruz Comedy Festival takes place at 17 different venues throughout Santa Cruz.
When: Shows take place starting on Tuesday, October 1st at The Blue Lagoon ($15) with from Brooklyn, NY AI vs Comic. Wednesday, October 2nd at Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery the #1 comic in SF (FREE), Thursday, October 3rd back at Blue Lagoon for Comedy Game Show Night ($15), Friday, October 4th is our HEADLINER show at The Rio ($30-$40) and Afterparty at The Crepe Place ($15), Saturday, October 5th takes place all over downtown Santa Cruz with free and ticketed events with 60 comics on 17 stages
Why: Laughing is good for the soul. Also, it’s the only way to fight the aliens.
How Much: Most of the shows are free. Ticketed shows range from $15-$40.

Synopsis:
The 11th Annual Santa Cruz Comedy Festival will take place October 1st through October 5th. This year features 5 days, 17 stages and over 60 comics, who have appeared on, Netflix, HBO, Comedy Central, Conan, Fallon, Kimmel and more! With new shows at The Abbey, GAME, Homeless Garden Projects and Bruno’s. As well as, The Rio Theatre, Kuumbwa Jazz, The Vet’s Hall, Woodhouse Blending & Brewing, Rosie McCann’s, Get Faded, Streetlight Records, The Crepe Place, The Blue Lagoon and The Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery.
Nine of the shows are free, and seven are ticketed. Our mission is to insure that anyone who needs to laugh can find an opportunity. We who laugh shall save humanity.
