Under new artistic director Andrea Hart, Cabrillo Stage will be presenting “The Hunchback of Notre Dame." This sweeping musical involves a full choir and Academy Award-nominated songs. Director Vinh G. Nguyen is “seeking a diverse and versatile company of storytellers to help bring the lush score and powerful story to life. We encourage performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, and abilities to audition.” Michael McGushin is musical director/conductor, Cheryl Anderson is choir director and Brance Souza is choreographer. General call auditions will be Saturday, Feb. 25, and Sunday, Feb. 26. Vocal auditions are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and you may be asked to stay for the dance auditions from 3-6 p.m. (not all roles require dancing). Auditions will be held at the Cabrillo College Crocker Theater, 6500 Soquel Dr. Aptos 95003. Actors may also submit a video audition any time before Feb. 24. Callbacks will be on Sunday, March 5.
