"The Golden Spike" by Daniel Kellogg marks the 150th anniversary of the transcontinental railroad. "unbound: Phase 1" by rising composer Nathaniel Heyder reflects on a period of artistic and personal freedom. Lembit Beecher's "Tell Me Again" uses cello to portray a story of immigration, composed for the virtuosic cellist Karen Ouzounian.
