Boulder Creek: Downtown Trick or Treat

Halloween is one of those days when you can let your creativity run wild and you can be whoever you want to be - you can wear costumes that make people laugh or that surprise or scare them. And Boulder Creek is one of the best places around to celebrate the holiday! Trick-or-treating in downtown Boulder Creek is a long-time tradition and folks come from all surrounding areas to enjoy it alongside the local community. We'll have dedicated community volunteers at various locations throughout downtown keeping folks safely on the sidewalks. The highway will not be closed, so please do not cross the highway except at designated crosswalks (the 9/236 intersection at the north end of town or the lighted intersection at Lomond St at the south end of town). The volunteers will be on duty from 5:00 - 7:00pm. Merchants will be set up throughout town with treats of all sorts, and some may have special sales happening in their stores! Please come by the BCBA table to say hi - we'll be set up in front of the Sheriff Center. There's going to be a pre-halloween event happening at First Friday, too! On Friday October 4th, from 5:00 - 8:00pm, Forest St. on the west side of the highway will be closed for a Spooktacularly fun kid zone! There will be a costume contest - kids aged 0-100 as well as pets are welcome to compete! There will also be spooky scenes set up for photo ops and the BCBA will have pumpkins at their table and paints to decorate them! There will be many other fun activities happening as well.
