Great Brewery Bake-Off Holiday Cookie Competition
The Great Brewery Bake-Off Cookie Competition aims to celebrate local bakers with a passion for cookies. With three different categories, bakers are challenged to present local celebrity judges with their favorite holiday cookies. Whether you make the best traditional gingerbread or a gorgeous, iced shortbread, we want you for the Bake-Off.
Judges include Erin Lampel from Companion, Lily Belli from Lookout, Jessica Yarr from The Grove & Chickenfoot, Stephanie Prida from Manresa Bakery, and more.
Prizes will be awarded at 4:00 PM for the categories of 1. Best Traditional Cookie, 2. Most Flavorful, and 3. Best Decoration in the three classes of Junior (under 15), Amateur, and Professional.
How to Participate:
Register: Interested bakers can register for the competition on our website
Bake: Pick a category and bake two dozen cookies for judging and tasting.
Submit: Drop off your delicious creations at Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing between 2-3 PM on Sunday, December 17. Remember to include your inspiration behind the recipe.
Prizes:
The Great Brewery Bake-Off Cookie Competition winners will not only earn the prestigious title of “Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing Master Cookie Creator," but they will also receive prizes and cash from local businesses.
