Dennis Jones Band | Deep Blues, Rock & Soul
Dennis Jones (born 1958 in Maryland) is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter who's released eight albums on Blue Rock Records starting in 2003 with Falling Up; then 2006, Passion for the Blues; 2009 Pleasure & Pain; 2012, My Kinda Blues; 2016, Both Sides of the Track; 2018, WE3 (live album) all while touring and opening shows for George Thorogood, Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy and Dick Dale. Upon returning from his latest European tour, Jones started his seventh album, Soft Hard and Loud, released October 2020, sharing production with bass player, Cornelius Mims. August, 2023, Jones won the Bobby Rush Entertainer Award for outstanding Musicianship, Performing Traditional Blues at the Jus' Blues Awards in Tunica, Mississippi. June 2024 Jones released his eighth album About Time, with nine of ten songs being originals. “Even with his impressive discography, Dennis Jones has never sounded more confident.
