2nd Annual Calavera Ball: A Night of Art, Culture, and Community
Arte del Corazón, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local artists, is excited to host its 2nd Annual Calavera Ball on October 19th 2024 at Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1960 Freedom Blvd, Freedom, CA 95019. This lively and colorful fundraising event will bring together art lovers, dancers, and supporters of the arts for an unforgettable evening of music, celebration, and cultural pride.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting the Calavera Ball for the second year in a row,” said Jessica Carrasco, Co-Director of Arte del Corazón. “This event is not only a celebration of art and culture, but it’s also an important fundraiser that helps us continue our work of supporting and promoting the creative talents in our community. We’re inviting everyone to come out, have fun, and support local artists.”
The Calavera Ball is a unique event designed to showcase local artistic talent and support Arte del Corazón’s mission of promoting and empowering artists within the community. The evening will feature:
● 🎧 Live DJ & Dance Floor – Guests can dance the night away to live music.
● 🎨 Silent Art Auction – Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind artwork from
talented local artists.
● 🕹 Arcade Games – Classic arcade games will be available for guests to enjoy throughout the
night.
● 🎭 Calavera Face Painting – Professional artists will offer beautiful calavera face designs for
those who want to embrace the theme.
● 📸 360° Camera Setup – Guests can capture every angle of their night with a fun and interactive
photo experience.
● 👑 Catrín/Catrina Costume Contest – The best-dressed attendees can compete for exciting
prizes in the Catrín and Catrina costume contest.
