Brian Tracy Remembrance & Cpt. Tim Schneider Fundraiser Night

Join us on Friday, March 7th at 7 p.m. @ Kaiser Permanente Arena for our Santa Cruz Warriors Special Brian Tracy Remembrance and Fundraising Night, as a portion of the ticket proceeds through this special link go directly back to support 28-year fire veteran and Hollister Fire Captain Tim Schneider of the first responder and local heroes' community! We humbly invite you to purchase tickets through this special link for the SC Warriors local heroes' game to support our efforts in raising funds in Brian's honor. Your contribution will help perpetuate his memory and legacy in our community, while offering vital support to the Schneider family who are navigating similar challenges. Read below for a message directly from the Hollister Fire Department and Tim Schneider's story: As a proud member of one of the strongest brotherhoods/sisterhoods, we humbly ask for your donation to support one of our own during a challenging time. Captain Tim Schneider, an active 28-year member of the Hollister Fire Department, has dedicated his career to serving the community he grew up in right here in Hollister, California. While on vacation, Tim suffered a major hemorrhagic stroke and had to be transported for emergency care leading to long-term hospitalization. He has undergone multiple brain surgeries in hopes of controlling the bleeding. The brain bleed has left him with significant neurological and physical impairments. Tim is 54 years old, married, and a proud father of two. As we all know, medical bills are very costly. Additionally, Tim was hospitalized several hours away from his home and completed undergoing rehabilitation in the state of Colorado resulting in significant room and board expenses for his family, who have been by his side during this time. We, the Hollister Firefighters IAFF L3395 have established a trust account for Captain Tim Schneider, and we humbly ask for your donation to help our brother in his time of need. Any support you can provide will make a significant difference in easing the financial strain on Tim's family and aiding in his recovery. For more information on Brian's Story and the history of this game, read below: In Spring 2023, the Santa Cruz community experienced a tremendous loss with the passing of local Santa Cruz native, esteemed community member, Santa Cruz Fire Captain, and, above all, a beloved father and husband, Brian Tracy, after a courageous two-year battle with non-operable stage four brain cancer. While Brian's absence continues to weigh heavily on the community and his loved ones every day, the Santa Cruz community demonstrated an incredible outpouring of support by rallying around Brian and the Tracy family during this immensely challenging time. Over 650 people attended a Santa Cruz Warriors game on March 11th, 2023 for a fundraiser, uniting to offer love and support and help alleviate the burden of medical bills. Brian himself was able to attend the game in mid-March, thanks to this remarkable support and experience this game with his entire Santa Cruz fire and first responder family. Through this fundraiser and other endeavors, we raised over $100,000 for the Tracy family after the initial fundraiser game in 2023. This not only provided crucial financial assistance but also granted Brian and his family a cherished opportunity to connect with the vast community and fellow firefighters who stood by them during this journey. Though Brian is no longer physically present, his memory and legacy will endure in our hearts and this community forever. To honor his spirit, we are establishing a foundation/fund in Brian's name. In addition to continuing support for the Tracy family, the Warriors and Tracy family aim to extend assistance to other families within the first responder community facing similar struggles or bereavements related to their service on Brian's behalf, which we did for the first time after Brian passed last season. Grab your tickets today and enjoy an awesome night at the game while also supporting an amazing cause, as a significant portion of the proceeds through this special link will be donated on behalf of the Brian Tracy family to Tim and the Schneider family on Brian's behalf! For more information or any questions, please contact Spencer Arburn at the contact information below and we look forward to seeing you and your family at the game to support this extremely important cause, March 7th!
