Adrian West Trio and Expressions Choir will each perform one set at The Monkey House. All ages, byob, $10 - $20 sliding scale cover.
ADRIAN WEST TRIO is the "intimate" version of the Adrian West Band (the five-piece Oakland-based acoustic rock ensemble that sounds like Paul Simon meets Talking Heads.) The Trio features vocal harmonies, acoustic guitar, electric violin, upright bass, percussion & live looping. EXPRESSIONS CHOIR is a contemporary, experimental vocal ensemble that brings people from the Bay Area together to discover the joy of singing and to share that with others. From our own arrangements of beloved songs, to originals, to improvisational composition, we express ourselves in various ways that circle around the central flame of music as a medium of connection.
