Hypnotic New Show MESMERISM! Launches November 2 At The Compound Gallery
Please join The Compound Gallery for a hypnotic event on November 2 at 6 p.m. as we kick off an entrancing new art show with a free reception featuring 12 artists titled: MESMERISM! that explores the realms of hypnotism, celestial influence, and magnetic allure.
This Compound Gallery show invited a curated roster of artists — Anthony Ausgang, John Casey, David Dugoncevic, Joshua Ellingson, David Fullarton, Jason Gouliard, Mark Hamer, Mary Kalin-Casey, KRK Ryden, Martin Mazorra, Isabel Samaras, and Wayne Whelan — to assemble alluring, absorbing art that pays homage to the legacy of mesmerism.
Fittingly, the show kicks off on the Dead of the Dead — November 2 — with an artists’ reception at 6 p.m. One of the show’s artists — KRK Ryden — will be performing live music, and there will be drinks and refreshments.
Inspired by mesmerism’s fascinating history, this curious collection of alluring artworks await you. Join us for this exciting invitational show featuring a curated roster of artists as they pay homage to the enigmatic, the fascinating, and the curiously captivating.

The Compound Gallery and Interdisciplinary Studios was established in 2008 to create a hub for creativity and community engagement.
