Good Food for Thought: Recipes for Social Impact

Social impact expert Aila Malik and The Commonwealth Club of California invite you to attend and cover an exciting event that will explore the intersection of food, sustainability, and social impact. Malik will be joined in conversation by Leticia Landa, executive director of nonprofit food business incubator La Cocina, and who is herself a co-author of the We are La Cocina cookbook. Together, Malik and Landa will discuss the innovative ways in which they've helped "social profit companies" enhance their social impact. The session is organized and moderated by Ian McCuaig, advisor to Track & Share, which encourages better performance from "social profit companies" through greater operational transparency. Tickets are on sale now for $10.00 members and $20.00 nonmembers and can be purchased here. Copies of Aila's Love In Action Social Jusice Cookbook will be rafflied and wine will be served.
