Proprioceptive Writing (PW) is a writing practice that helps you slow your thoughts and focus on your sense of inner hearing. It calls forth your imagination, your intellect, and your intuition all at once to open your heart and clear your mind.
The more you immerse yourself in the practice of Proprioceptive Writing, the further you travel from limiting self-judgments and the more you grow in confidence and self-trust. During this 4-day immersion, led by PW's founder, Linda Trichter Metcalf and PWCenter Faculty, Anne Bright, you'll learn to hear inner thought as voice, translate thought into language, and exercise your mind's capacity to sense itself.
Located 30 minutes outside of San Francisco in San Rafael, CA, Santa Sabina Center provides comfortable lodging in an historic Bay Area retreat, and delicious, healthy food. The meditative setting is perfect for slowing down and getting in sync with yourself.
During breaks, you can work with your hands in Santa Sabina's art studio, hike up into the hills surrounding the center, stroll through the botanical garden that is Dominican University's campus, or take some R&R in your private room.
