Join us on Friday, November 7, for another exciting FREE First Fridays program at the San Mateo County History Museum! Admission is free all day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., thanks to the generous sponsorship of Monterra Credit Union.
Two special programs will be offered at no cost:
🧡 11 a.m. – Preschool Program: Day of the Dead
Little ones are invited to learn about the Day of the Dead through stories and art! Children will make their own clay decoration to take home and enjoy the story Clatter Bash! A Day of the Dead Celebration in the Festival of the Altars.
🏛️ 2 p.m. – Docent-Guided Tour for Adults
Explore the museum’s fascinating exhibits highlighting the Peninsula’s history—from the time of the Ohlone people through today—with our knowledgeable docents.
The San Mateo County History Museum is located in the beautiful, historic “Old Courthouse” at 2200 Broadway in Redwood City. The Museum features engaging exhibits on natural resources, suburban development, cultural heritage, and entrepreneurial innovation.
The Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
