Lesbian Visibility Week Lighting of San Francisco City Hall
Happy Lesbian Visibility Week! What began as a day in 2008 has now expanded into a full week of celebration since 2020. This year, the theme for LVW24 is “Unified, Not Uniform,” emphasizing inclusivity and uplifting all LGBTQ+ women and nonbinary people, especially those most marginalized within our community.
Join the Curve Foundation, the only nonprofit championing LGBTQ+ women's culture and stories, based in the Bay Area, as we power all Lesbian Visibility Week activities in the USA.
Come celebrate with us at an informal gathering to witness the lighting of San Francisco City Hall in the vibrant colors of the lesbian flag. And if you don’t know what the lesbian flag looks like, that’s all the more reason to amplify lesbian and queer women’s voices!
The event will feature opening remarks by Rebecca Rolfe, Executive Director of the SF LGBT Center. Let’s come together to shine a light on the visibility and pride of lesbian and queer women! 🏳️🌈 #LVW24
