PUSHfest Dance Festival Featuring New and Favorite Works by Local and International Artists
Building on the triumphant return of its annual flagship festival last year, PUSH Dance Company is thrilled to present PUSHfest 2026 with four different performances and programs bringing together an extraordinary roster of local and nationally acclaimed dancemakers. Repertory will include premieres of new works by PUSH Founding Artistic Director Raissa Simpson and Associate Artistic Director Ashley Gayle. Performances will be given Saturday, October 3, at 1 pm and 3 pm, and Sunday, October 4, at 1 pm and 3 pm in the Black Box Theatre at 447 Minna Street in San Francisco. New this year: The 3 pm October 4 performance will be followed by a closing Gala Afterparty to raise funds to benefit the PUSH Youth Program and support emerging artist residencies. Founder and Artistic Director Raissa Simpson will premiere a new duet at the Gala with performers Marc Chappelle and Jasen Fong.
