Literary Walking Tour of the Barbary Coast Trail
Lace up your walking shoes for a literary adventure through San Francisco past and present. We’ll start with a cable car ride from Aquatic Park Cove to Powell and Market, then walk three miles back to the starting point. Along the way, we’ll see sites that inspired Dashiell Hammett, Mark Twain, Ina Coolbrith, Jack London, and a host of others. Daniel has been leading tours of the Barbary Coast Trail for over 20 years. His amusing tales and lively descriptions are a treat for those who love the City by the Bay.
