Dr. Smith-Coggins has enjoyed a 40-year career as an Emergency Medicine physician, professor and researcher/advocate for physician wellness. A founder of the Stanford Emergency Medicine Residency, she was the inaugural program director for 12 years. For the past decade she has enjoyed a blend of travel and medicine as a ship’s doctor for the National Geographic traveling to 16 different countries. Open to public.
