Defending San Francisco: A Conversation with SF City Attorney David Chiu
Join the District 2 Democratic Club on Tuesday, May 27 from 6–8pm at NEON for a timely conversation with City Attorney David Chiu on how San Francisco is pushing back against harmful federal policies through legal action. From sanctuary city protections to defending public health and civil rights, this forum will spotlight key lawsuits shaping our city’s resistance.
At a time when core democratic principles like inclusion, equity, and civil rights are under sustained attack, this event offers much-needed clarity on how local government is stepping up to protect residents through the courts.
We’ll also hear from D2 Dems President and SF Democratic Party member Eric Kingsbury on how Democrats across the city are defending and advocating for San Francisco values from the ground up.
