The Official San Francisco Halloween Pub Crawl

Planning a night out for a large group can quickly become an exercise in negotiation. One person wants a dance floor. Another prefers a neighborhood bar. Someone is hungry. Someone else is already sending messages about a completely different place across town. The San Francisco Halloween Pub Crawl offers a simple solution. On Friday, October 30, participants can choose from more than 20 bars across several of the city’s best-known nightlife areas. If one place is not right for the group, another stop is waiting nearby. Event Details Name: San Francisco Halloween Pub Crawl Date: Friday, October 30, 2026 Time: 6 PM to 11 PM Check-in venue: Mayes Oyster House Check-in address: 1233 Polk Street, San Francisco, CA 94123 What tickets include: Discounted drinks, free entry to participating bars, DJs, party favors, contests and more Participating bars: Beso Mae, White Rabbit, Silver Cloud, Hanaro, The Blue Light, Jaxson, Decodance, Music City Starfactory, Sacred Taco, Comet Club, Union Street Ale House, Route 101, El Lopo, Rick & Roxy’s, Mayes Oyster House, Rockwell, McTeague’s Saloon, Westwood, Lush Lounge, R Bar, Uni Pizza, Wizards & Wands, Campus and more The event will take place from 6 PM to 11 PM, with check-in at Mayes Oyster House at 1233 Polk Street. It is the second event in a four-day Halloween series that begins the weekend before Halloween and continues through November 1. After checking in, participants will receive the information they need for the evening. They can then create their own route through the participating locations. There is no required order, which means the crawl can be as busy or as relaxed as each group wants it to be. A short route around Polk Street might include Mayes Oyster House, McTeague’s Saloon, Route 101, R Bar, Lush Lounge, El Lopo and Hanaro. Those looking for music and dancing can add stops such as Decodance and Music City Starfactory. Beso Mae and Uni Pizza are also included in the area’s lineup. Participants who want a longer tour of the city’s nightlife can head toward the Marina and Cow Hollow. There, the event includes White Rabbit, Silver Cloud, The Blue Light, Jaxson, Westwood, Rockwell, Comet Club, Sacred Taco, Union Street Ale House, Rick & Roxy’s, Wizards & Wands and Campus. The result is a Halloween event that feels different from a traditional nightclub party. Instead of spending the entire evening inside one room, guests can walk through several neighborhoods and watch the city’s Halloween crowds grow as the night continues. The costumes do not remain hidden inside a single venue. They become part of the scene along Polk Street, Union Street, Fillmore Street and the surrounding blocks. Tickets include discounted drinks and free entry at participating bars. The evening will also feature DJs, party favors, contests and other Halloween entertainment. Guests can join the contests, seek out the busiest dance floor or simply move through the crawl with friends. Friday’s event also arrives at an ideal time for visitors. Anyone coming to San Francisco for Halloween weekend can use the pub crawl as an introduction to several local bars without having to plan every stop in advance. Locals may find that the event gives familiar places a completely different atmosphere once they are filled with costumes. The Halloween Pub Crawl will also take place on October 24, October 31 and November 1. Each date offers another chance to go out, try a different route or wear a costume that did not make the final cut the first time.
