FIX-IT FEST!!
Hosted by the Berkeley Unified School District Climate Literacy Initiative and the Middle School Makerspace Program
Bring your broken electronics, appliances, toys, bikes, clothes, and more!Â
We'll provide a workspace, tools, and guidance from a volunteer "Repair Coach" to help YOU disassemble, troubleshoot, and hopefully fix your item. Â
Learn to repair your stuff and take care of the environment.
Categories include: bicycles, electronics, mechanical items, ceramics, sewing & textiles, small appliances, sporting goods, jewelry & shoes!Â

As part of the BUSD Fix-it Fest, middle school students enrolled in MakerSpace classes will learn about repair during school hours.Â
This is the second of three repair clinics being held during the 2024-25 school year, offered to provide an opportunity for school & community members to fix things and learn about repairing household items.Â
The third clinic will be held on February 8, 2025 at Longfellow Middle School.
All events are free of charge and wheelchair accessible.Â
