-Juan “Wonway Posibul” Amador is an MC, DJ, actor, and radio host who lives and works in San Francisco, California. A child of Hip Hop culture, Juan was transfixed when a neighbor’s illegal cable connection netted him the first episode of “Yo! MTV Raps” on his family’s television screen in 1988. He began writing his own raps not long after. Later through destiny, good fortune, and the support of friends, Juan would cross paths with turntables and stages and add new loves to his musical practice. -As DJ Tom Thump I have been moving dance floors for a few glorious and fun loving years now. Originally from Detroit, with a stop in Los Angeles and currently San Francisco,my continuous immersion in and knowledge of the world of dance music (and good music in general), combined with his skills DJing, allow the musical language of each style to speak clearly and powerfully. Formally manager and buyer at the world renowned Groove Merchant Records, San Francisco. I have Programmed/Sequenced and Mixed six commercially released Compilations on Cosmic Flux (SF) and Kinkysweet Records(LA),and has released a remix of San Francisco Producer/Artist Romanowski with DJ U9lift,also, producing a booty moving remix of Funkadelic's "Standing on the Verge of Getting It On" with DJ Smash (Blue Note Records).In this time, Tom has also hosted and played at some of San Francisco'sbiggest, and best club nights, such as, Release, Budonkadonk!, Twice as Nice, Mushroom Jazz and Loose Joints!. Often boundary pushing, always satisfying.
