Raisng Our Voces Making a Joyful Noise!
A Safe Place is a non-profit organization based in Oakland whose mission is to decrease domestic violence by providing victims, survivors, and their children with a safe shelter and resources to break the cycle of violence through outreach and education to at-risk populations and diverse communities. Our clients are primarily women, youth, and children from low-income and at-risk demographic, cultural, racial, and social backgrounds who have endured severe domestic violence.
We are presenting the community concert “Raising Our Voices, Making a Joyful Noise,” on June 28, 2026, at Northeastern College, Littlefield Concert Hall, 5000 MacArthur Blvd., Oakland, CA.
A Safe Place needs your support to help fulfill its mission to decrease domestic and intimate partner violence in our community. Our goal is to uplift our community and victims and survivors affected by domestic violence, not just to survive but to thrive. Music has the power to heal, cleanse, and uplift those most affected by violence.
Please join us as we celebrate our community in this inspiring fundraising event featuring local musicians, singers, poets, and artists. The event also includes an online silent auction.
