JACK LONDON SQUARE TO HOST A ‘HYPHY WHEELS CAR SHOW’
Jack London Square, one of the Bay Area’s top dining, recreation and commercial districts (www.jacklondonsquare.com), invites the community to its “Hyphy Wheels Car Show” on Saturday, October 18th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. along Water Street. Inspired by Oakland’s hyphy movement – a local cultural style known for its energetic music, colorful cars and custom rims – the celebration will feature more than 40 classic and custom cars, over 30 local vendors, and live music and entertainment in an all-ages, family- and pet-friendly atmosphere.
