Honor - Kitchen & Cocktails to Host a Rombauer Vineyards Wine Dinner
Honor - Kitchen & Cocktails in Emeryville has announced that they will be hosting a Rombauer Vineyards Wine Dinner on Thursday, June 19 beginning at 6:30 PM. Guests will be able to enjoy a specially curated multi-course menu and a guided tasting led by a Rombauer expert. The featured wines will be a 2023 Sauvignon Blanc – Napa/Sonoma, a 2023 Chardonnay – Carneros, a 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa, and a 2022 Joy Late Harvest Chardonnay – Carneros. Rombauer Vineyards was established in 1980 in Napa Valley and the acclaimed winery remains owned by multiple generations of a family that included Irma Rombauer who originally authored the renowned cookbook Joy of Cooking. California-style Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon are hallmarks for their distinctive, fruit-driven expressions of these varieties and more.
Honor recently reopened after a 20-month hiatus, during which it underwent a substantial expansion and remodel. The result is a transformed space featuring a speakeasy-style lounge and an indoor/outdoor atrium dining room that beautifully blends industrial architecture with whimsical, vintage-inspired interiors and lighting.
The culinary offerings at Honor are equally impressive, featuring a Northern California-inspired upscale tavern menu that delights with inventive small plates.
