Honor - Kitchen & Cocktails in Emeryville has announced that they will be hosting a Knob Creek Whiskey Dinner on Thursday, August 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Guests will be able to enjoy an expertly curated four-course menu paired with bold pours of whiskey, and with a guided tasting and storytelling.
From smoky starters to a decadent finish, each course will be crafted to complement the rich, complex flavors of Kentucky's finest. The evening will begin with Duck Rillettes and a small batch cocktail followed by Oysters Rockefeller served with a 7 Year Reserve Rye (neat). Then a Dry Aged Steak will be paired with a 12 Year Whisky Cocktail and the dessert of Maple Whiskey Bread Pudding will come with a glass of Smoked Maple Whiskey (neat).
Knob Creek Whiskey, created in 1992, was inspired by the Bottled-in-Bond Act to represent the high quality and full flavor of pre-Prohibition-style whiskey and is for aged a minimum of 9 years, distilled at a lower proof, bottled at 100 proof, and characterized by the sweetness of its mash bill.
Honor’s substantial expansion and remodel have resulted in a transformed space featuring a speakeasy-style lounge and an indoor/outdoor atrium dining room that beautifully blends industrial architecture with whimsical, vintage-inspired interiors and lighting.
The culinary offerings at Honor are equally impressive, featuring a Northern California-inspired upscale tavern menu that delights with inventive small plates.
