3rd San Francisco Turkish Festival

The 3rd Annual San Francisco Turkish Art & Culture Festival Experience the colors, flavors, music, art, and traditions of Türkiye and the wider Turkic world at the 3rd Annual San Francisco Turkish Art & Culture Festival, presented by the Turkish American Association of California (CALTURKS). Join us for two unforgettable days at Embarcadero Plaza, bringing together our community and visitors from across the Bay Area for a celebration of culture, friendship, and heritage. This year’s festival will feature 48 vendors, offering an incredible variety of Turkish food, desserts, coffee, handmade products, jewelry, textiles, art, crafts, and more. Our stage will be alive throughout the weekend with Turkish and Turkic music and dance performances, including performers representing Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tatarstan, Uzbekistan and the Uyghur community. One of the highlights this year is the arrival of four traditional artisans from Türkiye, who will demonstrate and share their crafts with festival visitors. Their presentations will include Hereke silk carpet weaving, Kütahya çini (traditional tile and ceramic art), Turkish coppersmithing, and traditional Yemeni shoemaking. We will also have Kangal dogs, one of Türkiye's best-known native dog breeds, at the festival, including a champion Kangal. Guests will also have the opportunity to discover centuries-old Turkish artistic traditions, meet artists and cultural representatives, enjoy live performances, experience traditional music and dance, and learn more about the extraordinary cultural diversity of Türkiye and the Turkic world. And, of course, come hungry!
