The Ruckus Revival: Rainbow Riot- Pride Edition!
Join us for our wild Pride extravaganza where the rainbow runs riot! We're going all out with our LGTBQ+ celebration, getting down and dirty with an astounding showcase of the best of the Bay’s incredible queer performance scene! Prepare for an irreverent night of gay surprises and leave your inhibitions at the door!
Ruckus is a non stop ride of uncensored circus, stand up comedy, burlesque, contortionists, pole performance, freestyle rap, aerial, beat-boxing, slam poetry, shocking sideshow, hilarious dirty haiku bouts & more! The winner of multiple "Best of the Bay" awards, the SF Chronicle calls Ruckus "a dazzling, inspiring and celebratory display of talent" and "a tent revival for misfits and freaks, those whose artistry or spectatorship has a homespun bent and a bandit streak."
Every show features an all new lineup, and both the freestyle rap battle and slam are open for anyone to sign up and compete for $400 in cash prizes, judged by the audience!
Hosted by Jamie DeWolf (HBO’s Def Poetry Jam and NPR's Snap Judgment) and Wonder Dave (Mental Health Comedy Hour), with DizzyfromEarlier, Little Glitter Bomb and the beat-boxer Syzygy.
