“Shaken not stirred,” we have all heard the saying. It is what makes Ian Fleming’s super spy, James Bond, so super. It is not the fact that he drinks martinis, it is how he drinks those martinis, that matter.
Join Bay Area News Group columnist Jeff Burkhart as he explains the differences through both demonstration and dissertation. The demonstration will feature both the medium dry vodka martini and the Vesper, both done with a local twist. The stories are from his books and columns. Learn what it means to drink like Bond, James Bond.
A special screening of the award winning short film "Testing 1, 2, 3" (based on a story from Jeff's first book) will also be presented as well as a feature presentation of the first Bond film "Dr. No."
