REUNION! BRUCE FORMAN, JOHN CLAYTON & JEFF HAMILTON
West Coast guitar legend Bruce Forman joins renowned bassist John Clayton and drummer Jeff Hamilton as a tribute to one of icon Barney Kessel’s best-known groups, The Poll Winners (with Ray Brown and Shelley Manne). The inspiration for this project was Forman’s recent acquisition of Kessel’s original guitar. A mentor and good friend of Kessel’s, Forman had long sought the guitar after Kessel’s death and through “paranormal” intervention finally secured this treasure. Forman was further inspired to join forces with other Poll Winner’ protegees. Yes, John Clayton was mentored by Ray Brown and Jeff Hamilton by Shelly Manne!
