Keys to the Kitchen’, A Chef Takeover Series: The Restaurant at North Block x Azalina's


Guests are invited to step behind the line and experience the artistry of some of the Bay Area’s most distinguished chefs with Keys to the Kitchen, a rotating chef takeover series presented by The Restaurant at North Block. Born to reflect the culinary creativity of the region, the series celebrates and highlights the art of the tasting menu using seasonal ingredients, globally inspired flavors, and innovative creativity. Each installment invites a guest chef to craft a distinctive, ingredient-driven tasting menu, offering an intimate look at their signature style and perspective. From refined multi-course dinners to dynamic collaborations, this is an invitation to unlock extraordinary dining experiences. After an incredible evening at The Restaurant at North Block to kick off the Keys to the Kitchen Chef Takeover Series, Chefs Phillip Moratin and Azalina Eusope teamed up to offer a special six-course menu that celebrated Eusope’s bold, layered Malaysian flavors alongside Napa Valley’s seasonal ingredients with menu standouts including Oyster Kerabu, sambal-laced seafood, taro abacus, and slow braised short rib with tamarind and Sarawak pepper. The second takeover is taking place on Friday, June 26 at 6:30pm at Azalina’s in San Francisco, where Chef Moratin will spend the evening at the acclaimed Tenderloin restaurant where his wine country influence will intersect with Eusope’s authentic Malaysian cuisine for one last time.
