2023 San Francisco 5K/10K & Polar Plunge

Special Olympics Northern California will host the 2023 San Francisco 5K/10K & Polar Plunge on Saturday, March 4, at Aquatic Park. The family-friendly event will begin with a timed 5K and 10K along Crissy Field with beautiful views of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge. Registration is $45 for the 5K and $55 for the 10K and includes a commemorative medal, plus awards for the top-three finishers in each division. Walkers, strollers and pets are welcome. Following the run, the iconic Polar Plunge will invite brr-ave participants to take a chilly leap into the Bay to show their support of Special Olympics. Costumes are encouraged, and each Plunger will receive a T-shirt and barbecue lunch. All Plungers must raise at least $125 in order to participate. Additional fundraising is encouraged through levelized incentives. Registration is available for the 5K, 10K, Polar Plunge, or any combination of the events at PlungeCA.com.
