Spice up your lunch break with Comedy on the Plaza! Head over to 1 Frank Ogawa Plaza every Thursday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM for a live comedy show that will have you laughing out loud. This weekly event, part of the Summer on the Plaza series, is brought to you by Oakland Central and Comedy Oakland and features a rotating lineup of the funniest comedians around.

*** Ira decided the comedy scene really needed another middle-aged Jew from New Jersey. A 2-time finalist in the U.S. Comedy Contest, Ira has performed at The World Series of Comedy Main Event multiple times, & has performed in 25 states across the U.S. His comedy is featured on Sirius XM.
*** Kabir has been a touring headliner for almost a decade now. Kabir has had specials on Amazon Prime and worked for the hit show “The Family Guy “ on Fox. His YouTube Dry Bar Special, “Stay Single”, has been one of the best-reviewed Comedy Specials on the platform with over 3 Million Views. He has appeared on America’s Got Talent, “Gabriel Iglesias Stand Up Revolution “ on Comedy Central, and is the winner of San Francisco International Comedy Competition as well as Big Sky Festival.
