NCG’s 2026 Corporate Philanthropy Institute: The Purpose Imperative
The imperative of centering purpose in corporate philanthropy has never been more crucial. At its core, NCG supports the sector’s purpose to be: driving equitable social change while uplifting company values, enhancing brand reputation, and being a positive corporate citizen. The imperative of this has rarely, if ever, been so difficult to achieve while our communities are negatively impacted, our environment continues to suffer, and our status as a trusted sector is rightly being challenged. Leading this work with purpose and values at the core can fuel us to continue regardless of the moment.
Given this, how do we amplify what we know to be important and impactful to communities? How can we fuel our actions with our purpose and lean into our values?
This year’s Institute will highlight how companies are moving to have impact, leaning into local needs, leveraging all the tools and resources at their disposal, and continuing to make a difference.
