The only day residents open their private homes on Elfreth's Alley Saturday afternoon, June 4, 2016 is the only day during the tourist season when the private residences of Elfreth's Alley are open to the public. From 1:00 to 5:00 pm, the doors of over a dozen houses on Elfreth's Alley will be open
Elfreth's Alley, British North America's oldest continuously inhabited street, receives hundreds of thousand visitors from around the globe every year. Very few of the these get to step inside these 18th Century private homes.
Fete Day, the first Saturday in June, provides this special opportunity. This annual event also offers music, demonstrations of 18th century crafts and refreshments.
The individual fee for this celebration is $25. There are also family and group rates available.
