The Rosin Box Project's signature program of world premieres returns with an electrifying evening of contemporary ballet from three of today's most compelling choreographic voices.
DEBUTS features all-new works by internationally acclaimed choreographers Jennifer Archibald and Christian Denice alongside a world premiere by TRBP Founder and Artistic Director Carly Topazio. Together, these artists bring distinct perspectives, bold ideas, and innovative movement languages to the stage, creating a program that reflects where contemporary ballet is now and where it is headed next.
This year's program also marks a milestone for the company, presenting its 60th, 61st, and 62nd commissioned works since its founding in 2018. The kind of contemporary ballet that defines what's next for the art form isn't happening somewhere else. It's happening here. DEBUTS brings the pulse of contemporary ballet’s biggest stages to San Diego: nationally acclaimed choreographers, world premiere works, and a program built around the ideas moving the art form forward right now.
