La Mesa Oktoberfest returns October 2–4, 2026, bringing three days of authentic German-inspired fun, live entertainment, delicious food, and community celebration to the heart of La Mesa Village. As the city’s largest annual event, Oktoberfest welcomes tens of thousands of visitors with something exciting around every corner.
Raise a stein in one of three unique biergartens, including the lively Hofbräuhaus Biergarten, the family-friendly Hop Haus on Palm, and the relaxed Craft Beer & Seltzer Garden. Beyond the bier, festivalgoers can enjoy everything from bratwurst, schnitzel, giant pretzels, and strudel to a wide variety of international flavors from local vendors. Artisan Alley also returns with handcrafted goods, gifts, home décor, fresh-baked treats, and more from talented local makers.
Families will find more free activities than ever, including the popular Pumpkin Patch, pumpkin decorating, flower crown crafting, maypole dancing, and complimentary hat-making experiences. Kids, adults, and even four-legged friends can join the fun, with the festival’s dog-friendly area returning for another year of tail-wagging festivities.
