Imperial Beach Youth Voices: A Letter Writing Campaign

Your Voice Matters: Imperial Beach Youth Letter Writing Campaign Beach Bum Collective invites the youth of Imperial Beach to participate in a 30-day virtual letter writing campaign to help shape the future of our community. This is your opportunity to speak up about the issues that matter most to you. Share your thoughts on the lack of youth activities, the need for safe indoor spaces with clean air, how the Tijuana River sewage crisis has affected you and your family, your vision for Imperial Beach, what you would do if you were mayor, or anything else that's on your mind. There are no right or wrong answers. I simply want to hear from the next generation of leaders. Selected letters will be presented at a future Imperial Beach City Council meeting. If you'd like to speak publicly, you may have the opportunity to read your own letter. If not, I will proudly read it on your behalf so your voice is still heard.
