Artists’ Reception at the Off Track Gallery, February 10
The public is invited to an artists’ reception at the Off Track Gallery celebrating hand-crafted “heartworks” by the members of the San Dieguito Art Guild. From our hearts to yours.
The theme for this special display will be all things heart shaped or Valentine’s Day. Included will be jewelry, gourd art, glass, pottery, and paintings. Come on by for refreshments and find a gift for your special Valentine.
The two featured artists for this reception are Josh Levin and Penny Michelle.
Josh Levin produces textural, three-dimensional mixed media mosaics. His mosaics are created with stained glass, Smalti, ceramic tile, glass, and other natural materials to create depth and texture. His works are generally 18 by 24 to 30 inches. They are framed in raised box frames. Some are encased in Plexiglass.
Penny Michelle is knows for her whimsical sterling silver jewelry designs created with laughter, lots of detail and a dash of crazy! “I love color, glass, and metal and combining them is a joy. I am happy to work with you if you see something you like but wish it was purple!”
All artwork in the gallery will be 10% off from 10:00 am until closing.
The Off Track Gallery is owned and operated by the San Dieguito Art Guild, a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization made up of over 200 talented local artists.
