Jupiter String Quartet - Presented by San Antonio Chamber Music Society at Trinity Baptist Church
The fourth concert of the 81st season of the San Antonio Chamber Music Society will feature the Jupiter String Quartet. Now enjoying their 21st year together, this tight-knit ensemble has firmly established as an important voice in the world of chamber music. Recipients of the grand prizes in the Banff International String Quartet Competition and the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, Chamber Music America’s Cleveland Quartet Award, and an Avery Fisher Career Grant, their performances have brought the quartet to New York City’s Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, London’s Wigmore Hall, Mexico City’s Palacio de Bellas Artes, Austria’s Esterházy Palace, and Seoul’s Sejong Chamber Hall.
The Jupiters place a strong emphasis on developing relationships with future classical music audiences through educational performances in schools and other community centers.
There is free parking for this event in the Trinity Baptist parking lots; however, attendees requiring accessible parking should use the lot entered from Shook Ave directly behind the church.
