Race the River - Downtown River Walk
The San Antonio River Authority, along with its partners invite the community to come enjoy the 3rd installment of the 2024 Race the River competitive paddling race series! We are excited to launch the first nighttime paddling race as part of this year’s paddling series. On September 6th, you and your friends are invited to come watch this after dark race, a 5-mile sprint through the heart of San Antonio along the iconic Riverwalk! Enjoy watching amateur and experienced adventure paddlers race through the River Walk loop area.
