La Cantera Resort & Spa Offers Eclipse Viewing Package
La Cantera Resort & Spa is Partnering with the University of Texas at San Antonio and is Offering a Viewing Package to Locals on April 8
WHAT: La Cantera Resort & Spa sits atop one of the highest points in San Antono making it a prime destination for eclipse chasers, wanting to take in one of the planet’s biggest celestial events on April 8.
La Cantera Resort & Spa is partnering with the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Department of Physics and Astronomy for the ultimate eclipse adventure and educational experience. Staff and students from the UTSA Department of Physics and Astronomy will be on site to help guests with telescope viewing and answer questions.
Tickets are $130 for adults, $65 for children 12 and under, with $10 from every ticket sold benefiting a fund dedicated to student success within the UTSA Department of Physics and Astronomy. Parking is also included.
Eclipse glasses will be provided to all guests. Upon arrival, guests will also enjoy one complimentary cocktail for adults, soft drink for children, lite bites, culinary lunch offerings and live music by Finding Friday.
