Ariana Ortiz & Mark Lafon
Ariana Ortiz and Mark (Fonzy) Lafon met almost 10 years ago at a Singer Songwriter’s night called “Songwriter’s Anonymous” in Plano, Texas. Although funny enough, if you ask how long they’ve known each other, you’ll get nothing short of a different answer each time. Both singer/songwriters in their own right, this dynamic duo decided to team up in 2021, successfully playing over two hundred and fifty, well-received shows each year since. Mark Lafon started guitar at the age of 4, honing in his skills over the last 4 decades. 300 records later, this accomplished and award winning musician decided to further his craft by shedding light on his vocals and songwriting skills. Ariana Ortiz knew from the age of 6 she wanted to be a singer. Only a short time after, at the age of 16 did she pick up a pen and begin her journey as a songwriter, adding guitar to her repertoire at 18. She has yet to put down her pen writing over 300 songs. These storytellers, have combined their love for each other, their need for music, and their want for the road into an intertwined and entertaining live show.
