Christmas Day Buffet at Hyatt Regency Hill Country
Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is hosting an extravagant buffet at its Springhouse Café.
The menu will feature a variety of salads and starters including a seasonal squash salad, an artisan cobb salad, local cheeses and cured meats, citrus-marinated poached shrimp, scallop ceviche, and more. Entrée selections include a turkey confit, rosemary garlic oak-smoked prime rib, and a pork tenderloin roulade. Diners can enjoy several side dishes including a sweet potato gnocchi, Boursin mashed potatoes, buttermilk biscuits and chorizo gravy, and sumac-crusted baby carrots and broccolini. The meal will also include a variety of different dessert selections including an eggnog crème brulee, chocolate layer cake, salted caramel tarts, chocolate peppermint cheesecake, apple pear cobbler, Christmas cookies, and more.
The buffet is $85 for adults, $36 for children, and children five and younger dine free. Bottomless mimosa and champagne cocktails available for purchase for an additional $35. In addition to the holiday dining, Hyatt Regency Hill Country is providing the “Tinsel Tavern” holiday lounge featuring a jam-packed schedule of seasonal fun. Upcoming activities include a golf cart drive-in Christmas movie screening, holiday party-themed murder mystery events, holiday-themed pub trivia, ugly Christmas sweater karaoke, and more. The “Tinsel Tavern” is gathering toy donations for Toys for Tots. When people donate an unwrapped toy, they will receive a complimentary draft beer or hot chocolate. They will also be entered into a raffle for a two-night stay at the resort.
Families can also enjoy “S’mores with Santa” events each Friday and Saturday leading into Christmas. Guests will meet and take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus while making delicious s’mores creations at the oversized lobby fireplace.
