Event Details:
4:30-7:00pm..Come dressed up in your Muerte best and Dance! There will be dance music playing inside the newly enclosed event room for anyone that wants to get out early during the Day of the Dead.
7-10pm...Live music w/the best ghoulish lineup!
7:15-7:45....The Grim Folks
8:00-8:30....And They're Deadly
8:45-9:15....The Ghost Wolves (ATX)
9:30-10pm..The Sandworms
The Grim Folks- are still in the throws of releasing their new 6 track EP "Jackal Spirit", so it's the perfect time to catch this gothic western meets cowpunk rock band perfectly summed up as, Darkabilly! Nathan Quintanilla (vocals/guitar/keys), Mark Villanueva (guitar), Chris Stone (upright bass), Kevin Ruiz (drums) will get you up and dancing without you even knowing.
And They're Deadly-made of members Becca Najera (vocals), Keith Clark (guitar), Jeff (Bass) and Gary First (drums) have created their own sound with sultry, yet salty vocals & lyrics and a whole lotta years of combined musicians who have played on some serious stages before grouping up to give us a hypnotic sound that will make you want to move and groove. Self-described as Texican Voodoo Punk and Roll stands 100% accurate!
The Ghost Wolves-will be releasing their new LP entitled, "Consumer Waste" by local label Saustex Records just days before this event. The Ghost Wolves are Carly Wolf (guitar/vocals) and Jonny Wolf (drums/vocals) and have played their blues based transgressive punk and roll noise in clubs and festivals all over the world. The Ghost Wolves have released 13 records since 2011, making this one their 14th!
The Sandworms- are playing their second show this year, as they now rarely play but one, making this a show not to miss! The Sandworms are Harvey McLaughlin (keyboard/vocals), CJ Von Dagger (guitar), Shirlee Shadows (bass) and Svia Svenlava (drums). Come experience some Horror surf rock from outer space as they captivate you into their own realm.
Community Alter- bring a photo of your deceased loved one or a offrenda, something that they loved or that brings back a memory of them to place at the community alter throughout the evening. No original photos, please make a copy.
Vendors: MALA * X and Goth Yoga Tx will be selling cool art, repurposed goods, handmade dolls, jewelry and more!
