Winters Memorial Day ceremony
The Winters Cemetery District invites the community to a Memorial Day ceremony on May 26, to honor those who gave their lives in service. Flags will be flown at half-staff, and veterans’ graves will be marked with small flags. The Winters Girl Scouts will lead the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a patriotic sing-along. Col. John Klohr of Travis Air Force Base will deliver the keynote address. The ceremony will conclude with a 21-gun salute and TAPS to close the tribute.
