This is a collaborative event between Putah Creek Council and Solano County Water Agency. The tour will be led by Maddie Galal, PCC Stewardship Coordinator. Sackett Ranch is a creekside property that was acquired by Solano County Water Agency in 2020. Previously, it was a family-operated agricultural site known as Four Winds Growers. Since 2020, Sackett Ranch has seen a variety of habitat restoration work installed from native hedgerows to our Putah Creek Watershed Native Demonstration Garden. Furthermore, the Solano County Water Agency uses the greenhouse and shadehouses for their native plant nursery. ... Please wear sturdy, close-toed shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
