Walk For Love - Shriners Children's Northern California
Shriners Children’s Northern California is proud to announce the upcoming Walk for Love event, scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 2024. This community-driven event aims to raise awareness and support for pediatric care while providing participants with a fun and rewarding experience.
At Shriners Children’s Northern California, every day is dedicated to helping children achieve their fullest potential through life-changing care. From restoring freedom of movement to promoting range of motion and dexterity, our internationally recognized specialists are committed to empowering patients to participate in the activities of childhood and accomplish milestone achievements.
The Walk for Love event offers participants a 1.5-mile course that begins and ends at Shriners Children’s Northern California. Starting at 9:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM, the event promises plenty of fun and food for everyone following the finish. Prior to the start of the stroll, attendees will have the opportunity to witness a Parade of Shriners, featuring members from throughout Northern California and northwestern Nevada proudly donning their fezzes in support of the cause.
The stroll route takes participants through portions of the UC Davis Medical Center campus and the scenic T Street Boulevard in East Sacramento, offering a picturesque setting for socializing and raising awareness for pediatric care. The Walk for Love officially kicks off at 10:00 AM, and participants of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join the celebration. By participating in this event, attendees will not only enjoy a memorable experience but also contribute to the life-changing care provided to children at Shriners Children’s Northern California.
