ABAS 63rd Annual Bonsai and Suiseki Show & Sale, April 8th and 9th

The American Bonsai Association, Sacramento's (ABAS) 63RD ANNUAL BONSAI AND SUISEKI SHOW & SALE will exhibit a large collection of beautiful Bonsai Trees and Suiseki (Japanese Viewing Stones)! These treasures have been developed and collected by our community's avid bonsai practitioners, many of whom have been practicing the art for decades. Join us to immerse yourself in this ancient art rich with history and culture. HEADLINER, TODD SCHLAFFER, PROFESSIONAL BONSAI ARTIST AND TEACHER from Colorado's First Branch Bonsai will present a live DEMONSTRATION each day at 1:30 PM. The trees that he styles will be included in our daily benefit raffle. There will be a large selection of BONSAI, SUISEKI AND OTHER RELATED ITEMS FOR SALE by well-known and respected Northern California vendors as well as an ABAS member consignment area. BEGINNERS' WORKSHOP, Sunday, 10AM will include a tree, pot, soil and instruction from experienced bonsai practitioners. $10 fee.
